Traditional Metal Braces
Traditional metal braces have been around the longest for a good reason: They really work! These are made from high-grade stainless steel, which makes them very strong and reliable. They’re an effective, budget-friendly way to handle almost any goal you have for your teeth. Plus, the elastics offer a fun way to show off your personality with different colors.
Clear Ceramic Braces
Ceramic braces work just like the metal ones you’re used to, but with a more low-profile look. Instead of silver, the brackets are made of a clear material that blends right in with your teeth. This makes them a great choice if you want something a bit more discreet. It’s worth noting that they can be slightly more fragile than metal, and while the brackets stay clear, the ties can sometimes pick up stains from food. But don't worry, we'll freshen those up at every visit to keep your in-treatment smile looking bright.

Great job with both of my children. My oldest attempted Invisalign, but couldn’t maintain it and we switched to classic braces. I thought the transition was handled well. My youngest child had a missing tooth and the other teeth had grown around it. He required more complex care to get the adult tooth in place.Office is very well run and I find everyone pleasant. We've been going to Caraway Orthodontics for years now. They did Invisalign for me (as a 47-year-old guy) and my wife, and now they've done braces for both of our daughters. Every visit, the office is friendly and accommodating. With locations in both Erie and Louisville, they can pretty much make any schedule work.One thing I really appreciate is that the staff stays the same. There doesn't seem to be much turnover, so you actually get to know the people there, and they do a great job. Shout out to Daniel!Dr. Caraway is great. He's super nice, always remembers us, is patient with the process, and really knows his stuff. My kids love going too. There's a room where they can play video games while they wait, plus snacks like fruit snacks, granola bars, and water. Not a big deal on its own, but all the little things are taken care of.Highly recommend!
